Rice Thai Eatery – Authentic Thai Cuisine and Exquisite Dining in South Lake Tahoe

Coming from the Bayarea, we are exposed to countless great Thai restaurants. Rice Thai Eatery blew me away. Food tasted great and authentic (I've had food in Thailand as well) the ambiance and service was exemplary. The beef mixed with their hotpot was VERY VERY tender. If you like it spicy, ask for fresh Thai peppers on the side. It will kick it up to a whole new level.

I recently visited Rice thai eatery restaurant and was genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was stunning, the space is beautifully designed and immaculately clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.The service was excellent attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. The staff really made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the difference. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a beautiful setting with top-notch service.

Amazing new spot! We tried a few appetizers and main dishes and everything was truly delicious. Interior is cute with tasteful finishes and servers were all very kind and efficient. The menu is well-rounded with many different authentic Thai dishes, offering something for everyone. Also I highly recommend the iced Thai tea!

Great Thai food. We ordered green curry with chicken, excellent taste & good flavors! The rice is extra (portion was small). Vegetables spring rolls were very fresh and also excellent. Highly recommend and we Will be back. Nice addition to Lake Tahoe Thai food scene.

Just tried this new Thai spot on ski run and it’s amazing! The flavors are fresh, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was fast. Cozy atmosphere too, definitely my new go-to for Thai food. 5 stars!

This might be the best restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. It’s definitely one of the best Thai spots I’ve ever been to. The Tom Kha soup was phenomenal, the spring rolls were crispy and piping hot, and the Pad Thai was some of the best I’ve had. Service was also excellent. Highly recommend you come here if you’re looking for incredible Thai food.

We visited on their 2nd day of the grand opening and were blown away! The food was so authentic — we recently went to Thailand and this brought us right back. The Khao Soi curry noodles with duck were absolutely delicious, rich and creamy with amazing flavor. The spring rolls were fresh and crispy, the Pad See U was perfectly cooked with those chewy noodles we love, and the Khao Man Gai with crispy chicken was so tasty too. On top of the amazing food, the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. You can tell they truly care about their guests. So happy to have this new gem in town — we’ll definitely be back!
